My Inspiration:

My dear Grandfather was both a natural healer (Dr. of Chiropractic and Osteopathy) and a big band jazz drummer. He was my first inspiration to become a doctor and his compassion for his patients and competence as a healer was immediate to me while growing up.

My Experience:

During my late teens and early twenties, I worked as both an EMT and then a Paramedic. Driving an ambulance in Los Angeles, and participating daily in the life and death dramas of the human experience, grounded me with an understanding of our potential as a species to thrive and to suffer.
My Training:

I have a four year Doctorate Degree in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University.  I am a Washington State Board Certified Naturopathic Physician licensed to provide primary care.  My undergraduate work lead to a four year Bachelor of Science Degree in Cell and Molecular Biology and I have been certified as an EMT/Paramedic.

My Life:

I'm a mother of a wonderful teenage daughter, Breanna.  I live in Seattle with my partner, David and dog, Dakar.  I'm play volleyball, tennis and love dancing. I'm also an avid reader, love to shop at thrift stores and enjoy traveling whenever I can.
